  1. This is a MacroMind Director movie which illustrates a technique for teaching
  2. someone to fill out a form.  (In this case it is a simple ledger card.)

  4. For best quality, Adobe Type Manager and the ATM Helvetica and Courier fonts
  5. should be installed.  The first time the movie is played it is VERY VERY SLOW
  6. (15 minutes on a Mac+) but if a 756K ATM cache WAS specified the movie will play
  7. at a reasonable speed on subsquent plays.

  9. Much better results are obtained if the movie is accelerated using MacroMind
  10. Accelerator.  Set up a large ATM cache while the accelerator file is being
  11. created, then shut off ATM to free as much memory as possible while playing the
  12. accelerated movie.  Edit the Tempo in MM Accelerator, changing all the tempo
  13. "60"'s to tempo "120"'s.

  15. The original uses 600K of digitized speech to explain the movie.  These cast
  16. members were deleted to save download time.  A text file is included with the
  17. text of the narration.

  19. This movie was created on a Mac+ with unwanted parts of the form masked from
  20. view.  When played on a large screen Mac, unwanted parts of the form will appear
  21. around the edges.  The masks can easily be enlarged to reach the edges of your
  22. monitor.
